WAEMA donated dual desk to Wantram Basic School

The municipal chief Executive for Amenfi East Hon. Frederick Korankye on January 11, 2022 took his “operation 1000 dual desks per year” to Wassa wantram. Hon Frederick Korankye donated forty (40) dual desks to the school and promised to add up in the coming weeks. According to the MCE, desk deficits within Amenfi East is around 3,500.
So far 612 dual desks have been supplied to 18 schools in the Municipality. He took the opportunity to advice the Student to take their studies seriously so that they can benefit from the free SHS policy. Present were the Assemblyman for the area, Hon Kingsley Oteng Frimpong, the Headmistress of the school, Ms Gloria Koomson and the PTA / SMC Executives.
Hon Kingsley Oteng Frimpong, thanked the MCE for the measure he is putting in place to address desks deficits in the basic schools.
Ms. Gloria Koomson also expressed her gratitude to MCE. According to her although the desk deficits in the school have not been eliminated completely, it has been reduced significantly. She promise the desks will be put to good use to serve it purpose.
