Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly holds Town Hall meeting to present planned activities and budget for 2023 to residents

The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly has held a Town Hall a Town hall meeting to present its 2022 implementation performance and outlook for 2023 planned activities and budget at Boakyewaa Hotel, Wassa Akropong.

The meeting brought together various stakeholders and residents including traditional and religious leaders, Assembly members, Heads of Departments / Units, Youth groups, market women, transport unions, the press, hairdressers association among others. Addressing the stakeholders at the Town Hall meeting, the MCE, Hon. Frederick Korankye reiterated his determination to bring down illegal mining along river bodies, construct the Wassa Akropong market and fix deplorable roads.

The MCE presented some of his achievements chalked during the previous year. Joining the Open Government Partnership among others. The Municipal Planning Officer presented the performance of the Municipal Assembly for 2022 and also presented planned activities and programmes and budget for 2023 respectively which forms part of the 2022 - 2025 Medium Term Development Plan in line with Governments agenda for Jobs II - Creating Prosperity and Equal Opportunity for all programme.
