Municipal planning and coordinating unit (MPCU) meeting

The Municipal planning and coordinating unit (MPCU) meeting was held on the 30th July at the Assembly Hall of Wassa Amenfi East. In attendance were the Municipal coordinating Director and the heads of decentralized department within the Municipal Assembly. The meeting focused on key agenda items, which included discussions on the Dissemination of Multidimensional poverty Index and Presentation of Departments Implementation 2nd Quarter Reports 2024.

1. Dissemination of multidimensional poverty index. The dissemination Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) involves spreading awareness and information about the MPI, a tool used to measure poverty beyond income levels, The MPI evaluates various dimensions of poverty, including education, health, and living standards, to provide a more comprehensive understanding of poverty. This process ensure that policymakers, researchers, and the public can access reliable data to address poverty more effectively.

2. Presentation of Department implementation 2nd Quarter Reports 2024 Presentation of department’s implementation 2nd Quarter reports for 2024, offering a detailed review of progress, challenges, and key outcomes across all departments. This report emphasizes the alignment of each department’s action with organizational objectives, highlights notable achievements, and identifies areas for further enhancement. It serves as a critical tool for assessing performance, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering collaboration to drive continued growth and success in the second half of the year. 2.
