Handing over of no. 6 unit classroom block at Moseaso.

The chiefs, Elders, teachers, pupils and the entire people of Moseaso were met with excitement as they are long request of getting a new classroom block for Moseaso M A Basic School has become a thing of the past. The school which is the only basic school in the community has been battling with infrastructure deficit for a very long time as classes was being held under sheds.

The school which was started by former MCE, Hon. Helena Appiah was completed under the the current MCE Hon. Frederick Korankye.

In a speech by Hon. Helena Appiah, the immediate past MCE of Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, she applauded the current MCE for putting in much effort in completing the school and appealed to the current MCE to consider renovating the JHS Block. She also informed the chiefs, teachers, students and the entire community to take very good care of the facility.

The MCE for Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frederick Korankye thank the former MCE for putting in effort to start the construction of the school . He therefore entreated the teachers to put in their best in order to bring the best out of the pupils as there is now no excuse to close down school when it starts to rain. He encouraged the pupils to also learn hard and take advantage of Free SHS Policy. He entreated the chiefs, teachers and the entire community members to inculcate the habit of maintenance culture in order to make sure the school is always in good shape. He added that the Assembly has been able to provide hexagonal table with chair for the KG classrooms.

The chief of moseaso who was the chairman for the occasion expressed his excitement of seeing the school being handed over to the community. He also appealed to the MCE to consider reshaping the main road to the community and also to renovate the JHS.
