Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly has held its farmers Day Celebration at Gyeduah to honour deserving hardworking farmers in the municipality under the theme, “Agriculture: Moving Ghana Beyond Aid”.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. She said during the 2019 planting season, about 50,000 cocoa seedlings would be distributed to farmers in each of the four selected communities who have registered with the Municipal Department of Agriculture.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon.
