WAEMA donated dual Desks to schools within the Municipality.

As part of the Government’s effort of adding to infrastructure as far as education is concerned, the Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly has presented 200 dual desks to the Municipal Education Directorate for onwards distribution to help bridge the gap between students to desk ratio in the municipality.
These desks were received by the Municipal Education Director on behalf of the Head Teachers of the beneficiary schools. These schools include: Akropong English and Arabic JHS, Adamanso JHS, Nananko JHS, Abrokyire Krobo JHS, Gyapa JHS, Wassa Dompim JHS and Wassa Saa JHS all in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive expressed his profound gratitude to the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and the Ministry of Local Government for their continuous support and commitment to the education sector and also for remembering Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly when the national cake was shared.
The MCE also added that, he is committed to improving educational infrastructure in the Municipality and assured that, all school with infrastructural challenges are being solved one after the other.
