- Election of Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD) Executives in Wassa Amenfi East Municipality.

The staff of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in collaboration with the Girl Child Education coordinator from Ghana Education Service undertook sensitization exercise to schools within the Wassa Akropong township on 13th May 2025. Among the schools visited was Roman Catholic JHS where the pupils were taking through their rights and responsibilities as children as well as the right way to progress in life to become good citizens in the country. Participants present were 56 including teachers with 35 males and 26 females. They were given the opportunity to ask questions for further clarification.
