WAEMA Holds a Day Workshop on Business Standards and Business Registration Procedures

In pursuance to Article 245 (a) of the 1992 Constitution, the Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly in partnership with Food and Drugs Authority and Ghana Standards Authority has organized a day training on Business Standards and Business Registration Procedures on June 9, 2021.

WAEMA has continuously seek to formulate and execute strategies and Programmes needed for the effective mobilization of resources both human and material for the development of the Municipality.

In view of the above, the Assembly has organized a day training program for businesses in its operational areas to improve business standards and performance which in the long run will improve the revenue generation of the Assembly.

Hon. Helena Appiah, the Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East Municipal in her opening remarks entreated participants to actively partake in the areas earmarked for the training.

Some of the topics being treated include Business Registration with State Agencies, Standards and Certification, Sanitary Practices at Business Sites and among others.
In conclusion, the program was a success with participants advocating for similar training in the coming months. Also, Certificates were awarded to participants for their involvement in the training.
