16 Day of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

Gender Based Violence (GBV) is a human rights violation and a global concern affecting women, men, girls and boys across the world.

As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV, the Wassa Amenfi Municipal Assembly, through its Development Planning Unit, sensitized stakeholders on GBV.

At the stakeholder’s forum, the Municipal Planning Officer, Pln. Jalil Ali Mahama, took participants through the types of GBV, root causes, consequences and avenues to address GBV cases in the municipality. Participants were tasked to be advocates to EndGBV in the municipality and beyond.
