Management meeting on the preparation of launching Green Ghana day.

As part of the preparation towards the launch of Green Ghana Day celebration, the MCE of Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frederick Korankye, met with the forestry commission, heads of departments/ units and the media on 8th June, 2022 to discuss plans for the upcoming Green Ghana Day celebration scheduled on Friday 10th June, 2022. The forestry commission from Dunkwa on Offin and Asankragua ensured the MCE and the heads of Department of their readiness to supply over 50,000 seedlings, including economic trees, timber and shady trees. The heads of departments also ensured the MCE about their readiness and how prepared they are to plant trees to green the municipality. The director of the Wassa Amenfi East Municipal health directorate seized the opportunity to create the awareness about the rising case of the covid 19 and encouraged all to continue to observe the covid protocol.
